Capsicum Masala is a North Indian dish. It is quite easy to make and goes well with Naan, Roti, Paratha, Chapati and Rice too. I found this recipe on "Spice up the curry" and tried it. It came out delicious!

Ingredients
- Capsicum / Green Bell Pepper - 1 large
- Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam Masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon

- Cashew nuts - 8- 10
- Groundnuts - 2 teaspoons
- Onion - 1 medium
- Tomato - 1 medium
- Ginger - 1 inch piece
- Garlic - 5 - 6 pods
- Green chillies - 3-4
- Cooking oil - 2-3 teaspoons
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cumin seeds - teaspoon
- Cloves - 2
- Cut Capsicum into small cubes and fry them in a teaspoon of oil until it is cooked crunchy.
- Dry roast the cashew and ground nuts, grind them into a fine powder and set it aside. Then grind the onion, tomato, green chillies, ginger, garlic into a fine paste and set it aside too.
- Pour oil in a frying pan and when hot, season with all items under seasoning.
- Now pour the ground onion tomato paste and let it cook until the raw smell leaves and the oil starts floating up. Add the red chilli powder, pour a small cup of water and let it boil.
- Add the nuts powder and salt and let it cook for another 5 minutes. Now add the cooked Capsicum cubes, mix well and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes. Adjust gravy consistency according to your wish.
- Finally add garam masala powder, mix well and serve.
