This is I think one of the easiest and simplest chutney that you can prepare and goes with idli and any dosa items. Mom prepares it often and a regular at home. It is quick, easy, simple and tastes yumm..! What more could you ask for?? :)
Ingredients
Onion Tomato Chutney |
- Onion - 1 large
- Tomato - 2
- Red chillies - 5-6 (or as per your taste)
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Oil -1 teaspoon
- Salt - as required
Preparation
- Pour oil into a frying pan and add oil. Wait until it is hot and add red chillies and curry leaves. After 30 seconds, add the onion and tomatoes and fry until onion is transparent and tomatoes are 70% cooked. Switch off the stove and allow it cool.
- Transfer it into the mixer, add salt and grind. Your chutney is ready.!
