Rava dosa is an instant dosa which comes handy when you run out of dosa batter. Easy and quick. Goes with any chutney of your choice.
Ingredients
- Rava/ Semolina - 1 small cup
- Maida/ all purpose flour - 1/2 cup
- Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
- Butter milk - 1 and half glass (optional)
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves - 4 stems
- Chillies - 2
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon or as per taste
- Oil - 4 - 5 teaspoons (to make dosa)
Preparation
- Take all the flours into a container mix it well and pour the buttermilk or water (whichever you have decided to use) to make a thin batter. The batter must have the consistency of buttermilk. Watery.
- Now add cumin seeds, finely chopped chillies and coriander leaves, salt into the batter, mix well and let it soak for half an hour.
